Reminders for the week

Thursday 2-26-15
Parent/Teacher conferences
If you signed up and received a yellow conformation form, don't forget!

Friday 2-27-15
Six Flags reading forms are due
4th Grading Period Awards Ceremony @2:30 p.m. in the classroom

Don't forget to sign your child's reading log.  Students should be reading at least 20 minutes every night.  Thanks!  Have a wonderful rest of the week!  Stay warm!

Wednesday February 25th

If we have school tomorrow, Don't forget it is an early release day!  Dismissal will be at 1:15 p.m.  Also, due to the past two ice days and 1/2 day, we will not have spelling or reading homework this week.  The spelling words listed will carry over to next week.  Stay safe and warm!

Early Release

Don't forget!  Early Release next Wednesday, February 25th @ 1:15 p.m.  Please make arrangements to pick your child up from school at 1:15.  Thank you so much!

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Don't forget tomorrow is the first night of parent/teacher conferences!  If you received a yellow conformation note and it was for the 19th, that is tomorrow.  I have a full schedule tomorrow night, so if something has changed and you can't make it please contact me.  Thanks for your support and see you tomorrow night!

Education Galaxy

This week a letter will come home explaining a new online reading and math program that we will be using at Couch.  This program can be used at home!  The students will practice reading and math skills.  We will be using it some during the week, at school.  We are in a competition with other 1st grade classes, to see who can log the most use.  Please encourage your child to use this program at home!  Their log in information will be on the letter.

Valentine's Day Party

Please make sure that you found your child's party note, in their Friday folder.  This note will let you know what you need to bring.  If you are unable to help at this time, please let me know as soon as possible.  If you did not see the pink note sent home on Friday, please let me know.  I will send it home again.  Thank you for your support!

Day of Drumming!

The Day of Drumming will be happening this Friday during our Specials time.  If you haven't already done so, please turn in your $2.00.  I would like for my whole class to participate!  Thank you so much for your support!
